Newborn Bedding Apprehensions are Outrageous and Deceptive

Having a baby is a big decision because the finances alone will make you want to pull your hair out. At a certain point in life, however, most people tackle theirs fears, buckle down and prepare for a bouncing baby. Prospective parents should be happily anticipating their new arrival and should not get upset over all of the choices available in stores for baby bedding. After the first couple of weeks new parents begin to think: how could one baby need so much bedding? The parents try their hardest but never make a decision on a set of baby bedding.

Time flies faster than you’d think, and you don’t want your new baby to arrive before you’ve picked out the crib bedding. Do you really think so? Certainly, choosing a bed and sheets for your baby could not be that difficult. Suddenly it’s time for the baby shower and the new parents rejoice that the baby shower will produce sufficient baby bedding and this whole nightmare will be over. The shower gifts provide plenty of quality bedding, but now a new problem presents itself.

It was as though everyone at the shower had agreed to buy baby bedding – every guest brought at least one item for the crib. Eventually, there’s a mountain of comforters and three different sets of sheets. The problem emerges, and parents are upset when they decide which baby bedding to use.

Finally the baby arrives and they can’t find any of the bedding, so  Daddy grabs the first set of baby bedding he can find and discards the boxes of baby shower gifts.

Let that be a lesson to all you new parents out there; choosing baby bedding should not be an agonizing process. After nine months, you’ll be the parent of a beautiful infant, regardless of your baby themes for nursery. Ultimately, your baby needs something to keep her warm and safe, so purchase a crib set that will do this and move forward with more urgent errands. Relax as much as you can during your pregnancy because you’re going to need all the energy you can muster after the baby arrives.
